Euthanasia of your
pet at home
Increasingly people are opting for vet services to be delivered in the comfort of your own home. If your pet is euthanised at home please contact us when you book the vet so we can arrange to be there at a convenient time.
Many vets and mobile vets can take your pet back to their clinic from where we can transfer into our care. There are no additional charges by us for a transfer from a vet practice. Talk to your vet to see if this is a possibility.

Please phone us on 0436002586. We will endeavour to provide a transfer service as soon as possible, but this may not always be immediate.
Alternatively talk to your vet as they may allow you to bring your pet to their practice where it can safely stay until we transfer. There are no additional charges by us for a transfer from a vet practice. Talk to your vet to see if this is a possibility.

What should I do when my pet dies?
If your pet passes at your vets, then tell them that you would like us to take care of pet. Give us a call on 0436 002 586 and we will work with your vet to make this very difficult time is as easy as possible for you.
If your pet passes away at home give us all call on 0436 002 586 to make a time for us to visit. If your pet passes during the night, wrap them in a comfy blanket and place them in a cool area and give us a call in the morning and we will arrange everything for you.
If your pet is unwell and you think that they may pass soon, then call us on 0436 002 586 so we can talk you through the whole process to make everything much easier for you at the point when you need us.
Why choose cremation?
Cremation is a simple and dignified way for your pet to be cared for after death. In Australia over 70% of humans are now cremated because of its reputation as being dignified and affordable. At Cremation for Pets we guarantee individual cremation so you are assured of receiving your pets ashes back.
Will I receive the ashes of my pet?
YES. We guarantee individual cremation at our purpose built modern facility. You can have the ashes returned to you in the container or urn of your choice. Please see our store for details of our products.
If you do not want the ashes returned we can arrange to have them buried in our forested burial area.
How much will it cost?
Please see our prices page where current fees are listed. When you telephone us we will be able to detail a full cost estimate. Please remember that payment will be required at time of booking.
What is available to help me remember my pet forever?
We have a wide range of urns, jewellery and keepsakes available through our online store. We can also arrange for a paw print or a lock of fur for you to keep. If you will be burying the ashes we can also provide memorial plaques.

Last week on the 24th July we lost our beautiful and loyal dog BELLA.
